For many years, sustainability has been one of 3M’s core values. This industry leadership is evident through a number of initiatives such as:

• Our ground-breaking Pollution Prevention Pays program, that goes back to 1975, and continues to thrive today;
• Our shift to renewable energy sources, through our membership of RE100, and our global headquarters running on 100% renewable electricity since March 2019;
• Reducing our own greenhouse gas emissions, whilst developing products that help our customers reduce theirs;
• Growing our skills-based volunteering programs as part of our Sustainability goals.
